Salvatore Ferragamo presents a new F in his collection. F for Fascinating Night arrives on the market in September 2009 as EDP, a more intriguing, stronger and more powerful version of perfume F for Fascinating from 2007. F for Fascinating Night is a fragrance perfect for summer nights out and special occasions. It opens with aromas of mandarin sorbet and pink pepper. it builds a floral heart of jasmine and rose, which create a finish of patchouli, amber and white musk. The fragrance is constructed as floral-woody-chypre and it was created by Olivier Polge its is available as 30ml, 50ml and 90ml EDP. Its flacon has the same form as its antecedents and is colored in pink and black nuances
The opening of Fascinating Night is a bit harsh but if you give it a chance it is quite lovely. As it dries down, individually distinct and harsh notes blend into a creamy, peppery blend of orangery jasmine that isn’t overly sweet. This isn’t particularly what can be called a “night” fragrance, but it is nonetheless lovely. Silage is pretty good, going strong for at least 3 hours and counting. Overall, F for Fascinating Night is a lovely scent, fruity and floral, yes, but not typical. Well worth the purchase.
